Working in Wellness
Wellness is the central trend for the coming decades
Everyone needs a coach?

Whatever your career or background we all perform better when we have a coach supporting and guiding us to better performance. All over the world in every walk of life the coaching culture is becoming more and more established.

600 Wellness Coaches Wanted!

To help us develop our business across 600 UK postcode areas i.e. TW17, SE 1 etc etc. Also wanted for Ireland and other countries too.  We have over a million clients worldwide who are managed by Wellness Coaches.

What do we do? We have two key focuses:

Weight Management/Vitality - simple approach with customers skipping meals and eating too many carbs. Helping customers to gradually change eating habits. Many health clubs and gyms are not focussed on getting measurable results for clients. See summary of the industry at the foot of this page. We work with customers individually, an activity based from home, in weight loss challenges(class)  new wellness centres on the high street and via the internet. Anyone can do this...with the right personal qualities. Manage 30 clients, we have over a million, and earn £1200 per month...working part time..as a start.

British women are the fattest in Europe with a QUARTER so overweight their health's at risk

Performance Nutrition - with the launch of Herbalife 24 in Sept. Sporty/Fitness types wanted that understand the challenges of sports people and those that go to the gym. A separate directory of Wellness Coaches will be created for this programme. Work with health clubs, sports clubs and  with individual athletes. Specialists also wanted for each sport or activity i.e. cycling, volleyball etc Enjoy what you do, but don't get paid enough, this is an opportunity to transform your income.

What's your motivation?

To want to spend 5-15 hours on this project every week...? Extra income? Are you paid by the hour = ceiling on your earnings, as limited hours available per week? Income will only grow by 3% per annum for the foreseeable future?  Threat of redundancy when in your 30s and 40s when you become expensive to your employer? Don’t want to be stuck in a 9 to 5 job for the next 40 years? Poor pension provision? Earn a flexible income around another job/activity? Earn a royalty income? Free holidays?! Want to work in sports/wellness? Financial independence?  Frustration with work?  Realise that you will never achieve your dreams and goals on your current career path?

Types of income

Paid by the hour = ceiling on earnings = struggle to generate sufficient income from your current activities.

Product income = unlimited income (profits and royalties)

If its extra income, here are some testimonials:

All roads leave to Mega Weekend - Oct 22nd/23rd Oct

At this weekend we will have training from sports experts and also some key sponsored athlete will be there. Rachel Cadman completed the Arch to Arc the only female ever to do so, Team Herbalife Wheelbase Cycling Team, who have made huge progress up the league tables since we starred working them. Improving their ranking from 25th to 6th, competing against teams with much larger budgets, thanks to outstanding nutrition.

Highlights of a presentation from the weekend, from an expert on the industry who does leadership training with personal trainers.

  • Fitness industry always trying to re-invent itself. From bodybuilding in 70s and 80s. To fitness boom 1980 to 2010 through aerobics, step, spinning. Now maybe will move into Wellness Age?
  • Reluctance of health clubs to measure results. Scared what they may find!
  • Reluctance to recognise that the main reason people go is weight loss
  • Losing members
  • 65% of personal trainers leave in 3 months, job satisfaction is low
  • Average earnings only around 16,000 pa
  • Many personal trainers leave the industry altogether…so many wasted skills
  • Opportunities become fewer with age and frustration with the industry builds over time
  • Weight loss 80% diet, 20% exercise. Fitness 50/50%, Body building 70% diet, 30% exercise
  • Income of personal trainers/fitness instructors or anyone providing a service is restricted by time.
  • Look after 30 clients and then what? No opportunity to teach other skills learnt and benefit from it financially(royalty)

If recognition, that the objective is about getting measurable results for clients then a wellness solution is key i.e. both diet and exercise.  And to help clients to gradually change eating habits v just saying eat 3 balanced meals a day and providing diet plans clients don't follow!

What is Wellness?

“ The condition of good physical and mental health, especially when maintained by proper diet, exercise and habits.”–American Heritage Dictionary

“Wellness is about waking up every morning and having enough time, energy and freedom to live the life you want.”

The Keys to Optimum Wellness

1 – Balance Your Diet

You need to get enough of the right foods including colourful fruits and vegetables, protein, good carbohydrates and just enough good fats for the taste you want. You also need vitamins, minerals and fibre from dietary supplements to provide the nutrition missing from your diet that your cells need for good health.

2 – Exercise Regularly

Regular exercise can help you feel and look your best. Exercise conditions your heart and relieves stress and makes it easier to achieve and maintain a healthy body weight.

3 – Drink Lots of Water

Your body is about two-thirds water. In an average day, you lose at least one pint of water even without excessive sweating. To feel your best, you should drink 6 to 8 glasses of water a day.

Steps for Achieving Optimum Wellness:

Have an evaluation of your personal wellness.

Identify key areas you need to impact to reach your wellness goals.

Get recommendations from your Personal Wellness Coach.

Make a plan of action that you can commit to.
