Whilst there is no need to count calories with this programme here
is a guide allowing you to calculate how many calories and
how many grams of protein in your shake.
Rather than counting calories, the key to success is
eating 3 times a time to promote a healthy
metabolism , looking at the balance
of carbs and protein in your
diet, getting protein into every meal without the added
fat and calories, limiting/avoiding
carbohydrate
snacks e.g. rice cakes, cereal bars, getting a balance
between fruit, protein and vegetable snacks and drinking more water etc.
When you start your programme Herbal Vitality will provide info
such as your resting metabolic rate (RMR) i.e. the number of calories you burn
at rest during a 24-hour period. This is part of your
personalised
programme, which includes recommendations on daily protein,
how many spoons of Formula 1/3 intake plus general tips and
advice.
There are many ways to make your shakes including with
milk, fruit juice and yoghurt. Boost the anti-oxidant content of your shake, for example, by adding fruit.
